Specimen Requirements

Specimen Type:   Serum, Heparinized (Li-) Plasma, or K2-EDTA Plasma

Container/Tube: Gold-top, Mint Green-top (Li Heparin), or Lavender-top (EDTA) tube
Specimen Volume: Full tube

Collection Instructions: Do not use alcohol prep to cleanse skin. Use a non-alcohol germicide to cleanse skin prior to venipuncture.  Do not open cap.  Test cannot be added to a previously opened tube. 

Stability: 2 Days (A), tightly capped
