Specimen type: Plasma and Serum

Container/Tube: 1 Lavendar EDTA tube and 1 serum gel tube (gold top)

Specimen Volume: 5ml lav / 5ml gold

Special Instructions: This test is for personnel and patients involved in an accidental blood and body fluid exposure. THIS TEST IS DRAWN ON THE SOURCE PATIENT ONLY. The Employee Health Nurse or charge nurse (if during an off-shift) should be notified immediately.
