Specimen Type: Plasma
Container/Tube: Lavender-top (EDTA) tube
Specimen Volume: 1 mL
Collection Instructions: Draw on ice. Specimen must be delivered to laboratory as whole blood on ice within 3hrs of draw. Or if >3hrs, before testing, plasma must be removed within 15 minutes of draw and frozen immediately.

2 hours at 2-8 C
otherwise freeze sparated plasma immediatley
3 days at -20 C
