Specimen must be tested within 2 hours of collection.

Specimen Type: Vaginal swab or urethral swab on prostatic secretions

Container/Tube: Placed in a tube of 0.5-1.0 ml physiological saline (0.9% NaCl)

Ambient 2 hours

No Trichomonas seen
